On Thursday, June 18, 2020, at 11:30 pm, Squadron Leader (I) Manolis Garefalakis, 33 years old, who was serving in the 115th Fighter Wing, was involved in a car accident. He was taken to the General Hospital of Chania, where he was pronounced dead.
In a statement, the Air Force General Staff expressed grief over the loss of a colleague and his condolences to the latter’s family and loved ones.
The DEFENCE ReDEFiNED team expresses its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased.
