Advent Technologies has delivered portable fuel cell products to the Hellenic Special Forces. The said products can be used by special operations and other Army units.
Lightweight and compact, cell technology powers the portable battery charger that can meet the energy needs of the military unit in highly demanding conditions. It can power radios, electronic surveillance and monitoring equipment.
It operates silently using methanol reforming technology and provides up to 50W of continuous power and up to 85W of peak power. It can run uninterrupted off-grid for up to two weeks on one single fuel tank. The said system’s capabilities will be demonstrated at the national joint exercise “Parmenion”.
