From Monday, October 02 to Friday, October 06, 2023, the 12th series of the “Drafting, Production and Maintenance of NATO Standards and Doctrines” course is being held under the auspices of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS).
The said course takes place at the NATO Maritime Interdiction Operational Training Center (NMIOTC) in Crete.
Senior NATO Standards Custodians from Member States and Partners, from NATO Command Structure Entities as well as 2 NATO Centers of Excellence (COEs) will attend the course alongside specialized trainers of the HNDGS, Allied Command Transformation (ACT), NATO Standardization Office (NSO) and DEFSTAND PC.
The course in question has received the highest certification from the Allied Command Transformation, it is part of the actions to strengthen NATO training in matters of Standardization undertaken by the Hellenic Armed Forces for the benefit of the Alliance, and to date 360 high-ranking staff members of the member states and organizations of the Command Structure of the Alliance (NATO Custodians / Experts) have been trained.
