Moscow suspends the supply of spare parts for Russian weapon systems, which are possessed by “unfriendly countries”.

Earlier, Dmitry Shugayev, the director of Russia’s Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, told the Russian news agency Interfax that Russia was suspending the supply of spare parts and revoking repair permits for “non-friendly countries” that supply weapons to Ukraine.

Specifically, the licenses held by companies for the right to repair military equipment of Russian/Soviet manufacturers are revoked.

For example, some enterprises located in Bulgaria and the Czech Republic have had their licenses to repair Mi helicopters revoked, Shugayev said.

Supplies of spare parts and components for Russian/Soviet-made aircraft and other equipment located in non-friendly countries have also been halted, Shugayev added.

He also stated that Russia has much greater claims that are not and will not be recognized by these states.

Now, enterprises are looking for alternative sources of know-how.
