The Armenian National Committee of the United States of America, which urged the Disney production company to cancel the production and screening of the “Ataturk” series on the “accomplishments” of Mustafa Kemal in view of the 100-year anniversary of the founding of the neighboring country, seems to have been successful.
According to information from Turkish media, after unbearable pressure from the powerful Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA), Disney is removing all content with Mustafa Kemal.
It is obvious that such a “documentary” is part of the propaganda of modern Turkey, which tries in every way to overturn its image not only in relation to its past, but also its present.
It must be reminded that US President, Joe Biden, has already recognized the Armenian Genocide by Kemal’s Turkey, while efforts are being made to have the same results as the Pontic Hellenic Genocide.
According to the data published on the specialized website imdb.com, the premier was planned for October 29, 2023, and Kemal’s role would be performed by Turkish actor Aras Bulut Iynemli.
The ANCA message that went viral said:
“Call on DisneyPlus to cancel its series glorifying Mustafa Kemal Atatürk – a Turkish dictator and genocidal killer with the blood of millions of Greek, Armenian, Assyrian, Chaldean, Syrian, Aramean, Maronite, and other Christian martyrs on his hands.”
