The Ministry of Defence is recruiting Contracted Soldiers in the National Guard so as to fill all vacancies for Contracted Soldiers’ positions. Thus, it invites candidates with the required qualifications to apply for recruitment as specified in the relevant notice.

According to an announcement by the Ministry, applications can only be submitted online through the Government Portal https://www.gov.cy/gr/, from Friday, February 03, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. until Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.

For more information, inquiries, assistance in filling out the application, or in the event of an error or inability to submit the required supporting documents, applicants can consult the instructions below regarding electronic submission or contact the Service Center for Conscripts and Citizens of the Ministry of Defence every day from 08:00 to 15:00 by calling 1430 or by sending an e-mail to the following address: [email protected].

To complete the online application, applicants must be registered users on the Government Portal https://www.gov.cy/gr/. The identification process can be done as follows:

• electronically following the instructions on Gov.cy; or
• in person at a Citizen Service Center, where applicants should present their Identity Card.

Upon completion of the application submission, candidates will undergo a Sports and a Military Test, which will assess their physical condition and combat capability respectively. The Tests in question are expected to take place within March and candidates will be notified via email and SMS.
