The Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, welcomed at noon the King of Jordan, Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, in view of the Tripartite Summit between Greece, Cyprus and Jordan.

The Summit, which will take place at Zappeion, is the third consecutive one to be held. The first summit took place in Nicosia on January 16, 2018 and the second in Amman on April 14, 2019. The third Summit was originally scheduled to take place in Athens on April 7, 2020, but was postponed due to the pandemic.
Security and stability in the Eastern Mediterranean in the light of recent Turkish illegal announcements as well as the strengthening of the tripartite cooperation will be discussed.
