Cyprus Police Association | “Next goal, the upgrading of all ranks”
An announcement was issued on Friday by the Cyprus Police Association (CPA), in which it states that the ranks of special police officers have been restored.
We remind you that, with a unanimous decision of the Legal Committee, the sick leave of special police officers is now the same as the one that is valid for the other members of the Police Force with retroactive effect as of 1/1/2018.
The announcement of CPA is as follows:
Today (Friday 24/10) a basic goal has been achieved, which was the result of long and painstaking efforts of the CPA and concerns the restoration of the ranks of special police officers and Constables, who have joined the Police force later than July 2002.
All ranks were restored with retroactive effect.
The next goal, for which it should be noted that the actions have already begun, is to upgrade the ranks at all levels.
