Reports on several social media accounts of a Russian MiG-29 fighter jet crashing, after operating on behalf of the Libyan National Army (LNA).
Although several accounts indicate that the aircraft was shot down, nothing has been confirmed so far while the exact time and place of the incident have not been ascertained.
According to analyst Babak Taghvaee, the plane crashed due to technical failure and the pilot (who videotaped the scene) was successfully ejected from the aircraft.
The video also shows an LNA Mi-24P helicopter, which probably arrived in the area to rescue the pilot.
