The Russian state arms export company Rosoboronexport showcased the latest 7.62mm 6P68 Kord assault rifle designed by the Russian company Degtyarev Plant at the IDEX 2021 exhibition in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The 6P68 Kord assault rifle, manufactured by ZiD (JSC Degtyarev Plant), is a rifle with high precision in the hands of special forces. Experts praise the unique characteristics of the rifle in automatic firing mode owing to an innovative balanced action system.
Extensive experience in the development of machine guns, rifles and other weapons has enabled the manufacturer to select the most advanced light and durable alloys to achieve high weapon reliability.

Main characteristics:
– Caliber: 7.62 mm
– Ammunition: 7.62x39mm
– Weight: 3.5 kg
– Sighting Range: 800 m
– Magazine: 30 rounds
The new rifle is compatible with red dot sights and binoculars mounted on a Picatinny rod.
The 6P68 assault rifle is the new member of the KORD family of small arms that also includes the 5.45x39mm (6P67) configuration as well as the 7.62 mm machine gun.
