USA | 22 soldiers injured in helicopter crash in Syria

Twenty-two members of the US Armed Forces were injured in an accident involving a helicopter in northeastern Syria, the Central Command (CENTCOM), which is in charge of troops in the Middle East, announced late Monday night.

Ten of the soldiers were transferred to higher capacity health facilities outside CENTCOM’s area of ​​responsibility, the press release adds.

The causes of the accident, which took place yesterday Sunday according to the US military, are the subject of an ongoing investigation, although no enemy fire was reported, according to the same announcement.
