Turkey is buying a fourth drillship after Fatih, Yavuz and Kanuni, according to the pro-government ATV channel, which claims that a preliminary agreement has been reached for the ship to arrive from Norway.

According to the same sources, this is the Bolette Dolphin, which was built in South Korea in 2014 and has been used by a Norwegian company for some years. She is technologically more advanced compared to the other three drillships purchased by Turkey. Being 229 meters long with a 36-meter beam, she can drill down to a depth of 12,100 meters.
