The Cyprus Police has released an impressive VIDEO with footage from the anti-terrorist exercise “TRITONAS 2022”. The exercise held between the Police and the Port Authorities of the Zygi Port took place on Friday, May 13, 2022 between 8:30 a.m. and 2.00 pm in the area of Zygi Port (Vasilikos Energy Center).

In the VIDEO posted by the Police on its official Twitter account, members of the force are seen descending on the pier from an AW-139 helicopter, while the exercise scenarios were highly complex and included, among other things, dealing with the injured.

As previously announced by the Police, during the exercise, open fire was used and there was a great mobilization of police authorities, vehicles, crafts and police helicopters, ambulances and fire trucks. The coordinating role was taken over by the Emergency Response Unit’s Planning Team headed by the Unit Commander.
