THEON INTERNATIONAL PLC, a developer and manufacturer of night vision and thermal imaging systems for defence and security applications worldwide, announced its financial results for the six months that ended 30 June 2024 ahead of the results announcement of September 2024.
H1 2024 performance recorded expected record revenue of €152.3m, 161% higher than H1 2023 (€58.4m), and EBIT margin according to forecasts for the mid-twenties. The company confirms its confidence in the forecasts for the financial year 2024.
New orders in H1 2024 totaled €77m while the company still has a strong order backlog of €427m as of 30 June 2024, equivalent to 1.3x FY2020 revenue guidance year 2024. The company confirms strong demand for its products and expects an acceleration in receiving new orders as we approach the end of the year, as per usual practice.
THEON continues to plan and implement its acquisitions in line with its growth strategy and is expected to announce its first acquisition after listing its shares on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange in a few weeks.
THEON will announce its results for the first half of 2024 on Monday, September 9, 2024, after the market closes and will hold a conference call for analysts and investors the following day.
