The quadripartite exercise “EUNOMIA” is completed today
The quadripartite aeronautical exercise “Eunomia”, in which the aeronautical forces of France, Italy, Greece and Cyprus take part, continues and will be completed today.
The exercise is conducted in the sea area south of Cyprus and involves surface and submarine vessels as well as a number of aircraft. French and Greek warplanes, which use the “Andreas Papandreou” air base, have been conducting exercises and virtual attacks on targets both on land and at sea since Wednesday when the exercise began.

In yesterday’s scenario that took place in the sea area between Crete and Cyprus participated six other Greek F-16 fighters that had taken off from a base in Chania. According to Greek Pentagon sources, Turkish aircraft tried to harass the six fighters on their return to their base, but were intercepted by other aircraft and thus withdrew.
