On Sunday evening, police officers in Salamina arrested two Albanian men, aged 63 and 67, on charges of espionage.

The two Albanians had been detected earlier by the Hellenic Navy personnel entering and surveying the Salamis Naval Station.

According to Proto Thema, the two Albanians claimed that they were under the influence of alcohol, with the same information stating that they were tested and found that they had indeed consumed alcohol.

Despite their claim, the two Albanians were arrested, detained, and will be taken to the prosecutor, while the way in which they managed to enter the area of the Naval Station is still being investigated.
