01/04/2025

RAFNAR Hellas has announced the official opening of its new state-of-the-art shipyard and headquarters in Lavrio, along with a second specialised facility in Peta Kerateas, marking a major milestone in the company’s continued growth and strategic expansion in Greece.

The facility in Lavrio now serves as the main operational hub of RAFNAR Hellas, providing  enhanced capacity for high-performance vessel production, shipbuilding engineering, and innovation. The Keratea facility complements this function, focusing on final assembly operations, equipment installation, and technical support, thereby optimising the overall production cycle.

This expansion comes in response to growing international demand for RAFNAR’s tactical and professional vessels, particularly in defence, maritime security, and search and rescue operations. Production for the coming years is already filling up with orders, reaffirming confidence in the unique buoyancy, safety, and performance of RAFNAR boats.

In addition to meeting increased demand, RAFNAR Hellas is preparing to launch its newest and largest model to date – a 62-foot high-performance vessel designed for long-range operations and mission-critical tasks. This new flagship is expected to redefine standards in its class.

With both facilities now fully operational and the next generation of RAFNAR boats on the horizon, the company continues to lead through innovation, building on its globally recognised hull patent, ÖK Hull.
