One-day Event for the Eastern Mediterranean and Cyprus at Neapolis Paphos University

On Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 18:00 to 19:30, an important one-day event will be held at the “Kerynia” Amphitheatre of Neapolis Paphos University. 

The event is organised by Strategy International in collaboration with the University of Neapolis and will focus on the Eastern Mediterranean and Cyprus, with an emphasis on strategic analysis and its implications. 

The event entitled “Eastern Mediterranean and Cyprus: Strategic Analysis and Implications” is expected to attract experts, policymakers, and academics, who will discuss key issues and perspectives of the region.

Agenda and Speakers:

– Welcome remarks: Giorgos Leptos, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Neapolis Paphos University

– Introduction: Professor Pantelis Sklias, Rector of Neapolis Paphos University  

– Speakers:

  – Averof Neofytou, former President of DISY, Member of Parliament  

  – Andreas Pentaras, General in Retirement

  – Marios P. Efthymiopoulos, Chairman of the Department of History, Politics, and International Studies, Associate Professor of International Security and Strategy, Neapolis Paphos University, Chairman of Strategy International (SI) Ltd

  – Antonis Klapsis, Associate Professor of International History and International Diplomacy, Department of Political Science and International Relations, University of the Peloponnese

– Moderator: Christos Christodoulou, CEO of CSC Christodoulou
