INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
Italian Defence Minister Lorenzo Guerini is paying an official one-day visit to Cyprus today for talks on issues of common interest with Defence Minister Charalambos Petridis.
The official reception will take place at noon, while statements to the press are scheduled for 13:20.
During the meeting, the two Ministers will discuss the extension of the two countries’ cooperation in defence issues, as well as the presence of European naval forces in the Eastern Mediterranean region.
The Italian Minister of Defence will leave Cyprus in the afternoon of the same day.
