A missile launched by Yemen’s Houthis movement struck an area near Ben Gurion Airport in central Israel on Sunday morning, after Israeli air defences failed to intercept it.

At least two Israeli companies will participate in the Euronaval international defence equipment trade show in early November, during which the French government has banned the display of weapons used in the conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon, organizers announced Thursday.
At the moment, this restrictive measure does not concern two companies out of seven in total, said Euronaval director general Hugh d’Arzandre during a press conference for the presentation of the exhibition to be held from November 4 to 7 in Villepinte, north of Paris.
For the other five, the issue is under discussion and negotiation, he added.
Israel accused President Emmanuel Macron on October 16 of “embarrassing” France after the French government’s decision to ban Israeli companies from presenting their weapons systems at the exhibition.
The decision made by the government states with extreme clarity that Israeli companies are allowed to participate in the exhibition but cannot have a stand. No Israeli industrialist, journalist, citizen, or visitor is barred from the exhibition, Ugh d’Arzantre added.
According to Ugh d’Arzandre, companies that cannot participate in the exhibition will receive significant compensation.
At the end of May, the presence of Israeli industries in the defense sector in the Eurosatory report was canceled by a government decision in the middle of the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip before finally being allowed by the judiciary.
Regarding Ukraine, its companies will not participate in this exhibition, d’Arzantre announced.
