In the presence of the Minister of National Defence, Nikos Dendias, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed on Friday, June 7, 2024, by the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS), the Hellenic Center for Defence Innovation (HCDI) and the Hellenic Aerospace Industry (HAI). 

On behalf of the HNDGS, the Memorandum of Cooperation was signed by the Director of the 6th Branch, Major General Georgios Panousis, on behalf of HCDI by its Managing Director, Pantelis Tjortzakis, and on behalf of HAI by its President and CEO, Vice-Admiral (ret.) Alexandros Diakopoulos.

The Memorandum concerns the possibility of cooperation for the implementation of a research and development (R&D) project proposal for an Electronic system for Support, Intelligence and Countermeasures.

The signing ceremony of the Memorandum, which took place at the Ministry of National Defence, was attended by the Deputy Chief of the HNDGS, Vice-Admiral Christos Sasiakos, the President of HCDI, Vice-Admiral (ret.) Panagiotis Lymberis, and the members of his Board of Directors, as well as the CEO of the Hellenic Holdings and Property Company, Grigoris D. Dimitriadis.

According to a relevant announcement, this Memorandum entered into force once signed by the representatives of the three parties.
