From Wednesday, June 27 to Friday, July 01, 2022, the 8th “Drafting, Production and Maintenance of NATO Standards and Doctrines” training took place under the auspices of Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS) at the NATO Maritime Interdiction Operational Training Center (KENAP/NMIOTC) in Crete.
A total of 36 NATO Standards Custodians from 8 Member-States and Partners, 10 NATO Command Structure Entities, and 2 NATO Centers of Excellence (COEs) participated in it.
According to HNDGS, the training was carried out by specialized instructors of HNDGS, the Allied Command Transformation (ACT), and the NATO Standardization Office (NSO), while to date 230 high-ranking officers of the member-states and the organizations of the Command Structure of the Alliance have been trained.
The training in question has received the highest certification from the Alliance’s Transformation Command and is part of the actions aiming to strengthen NATO’s training in matters of Standardization, which the Hellenic Armed Forces have undertaken for the benefit of the Alliance.
