Hellenic Air Force | The youth in virtual F-16 flights in Alexandroupolis

The residents and visitors of Alexandroupolis will have the unique experience of flying with an F-16 in a flight simulator from today until Sunday, November 3.

As part of the Hellenic Air Force’s pioneering program to transfer flight simulators to critical areas of the country, the simulator has already been placed in the area of ​​Warehouse No. 2 in the port of Alexandroupolis, and the virtual flights will take place every day from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

According to a relevant announcement by the municipal Authority, the aim of the action is to strengthen the contact of young people with aviation and the cutting-edge technologies of the Air Force. Through this action, young people have the opportunity to live the experience of flight, promoting knowledge and appreciation for aviation capabilities and technological progress.

For its part, the Hellenic Air Force General Staff announced that from Friday 25 to Monday 28 October 2024, they were in Xanthi, at the Cultural Center, continuing their effort to bring young people in contact with the aviation concept and cutting-edge technologies.

Through state-of-the-art flight simulators, participants had the opportunity to experience flight, such as with F-16 fighters, and discover the capabilities of the Hellenic Air Force.
