A 45-year-old warrant officer was killed when he was fatally wounded by a gun in a camp in Kos, as announced by the General Staff.

The announcement of the Army General Staff is as follows:

“The Army General Staff announces that, during the early hours of Tuesday, August 4, 2020, the 45-year-old warrant officer A.K, who served in a Unit of Kos, was fatally wounded by a gun inside the Camp. The causes of the incident are being duly investigated. The Army General Staff expresses its sincere condolences to his family. Colonel Alexandros Mountzios, Spokesman of the General Staff.”
