EUROSATORY 2024 International Defence and Security Exhibition opened its doors today in the City of Light, Paris.
Greece and Cyprus, the two states of Hellenism, participate with national pavilions at this year’s EUROSATORY, organized respectively by the Hellenic Manufacturers of Defence Materiel Association (SEKPY) and the Cyprus Association of Research and Innovation Enterprises (CARIE).
The participating companies leverage the opportunity and showcase their full portfolio of capabilities proving that they are quite competitive with the rest of the impressive participants.
Consequently, both pavilions were attended by an impressive number of people from both the industrial sector and the Armed Forces community.
The Minister of National Defence also attended the pavilions of other Greek companies, such as SCYTALYS, THEON Sensors, Intracom Defense and SCOPEX.
In fact, the national pavilions were honored with the presence of the Greek Minister of Defence, Mr. Dendias, and the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Palmas, who had the opportunity to discuss matters of common interest and be informed about the products and services of each of the companies.
The two Ministers, during their short attendance, listened enthusiastically to the representatives of the companies and how the latter can provide solutions to the Armed Forces and assist them in the execution of their missions.
It is worth mentioning that the attendance of the two Ministers is not a mere typical activity, but a vote of confidence and tangible support of the states in the domestic defence and security ecosystems, which continue to develop rapidly in view of the absorption of these solutions by the Hellenic Armed Forces and the National Guard.
In his statements, Mr. Palmas spoke about the perspective of the domestic defence industry, referring to the 50th anniversary of the Turkish invasion this year.
Mr. Dendias, in turn, referred to the development of the Greek defence industry in cooperation with Cyprus and other countries, such as France, while he also visited most Greek companies, such as SCYTALYS, THEON Sensors, Intracom Defense and SCOPEX.
