The 3rd International Cyprus Defence & Security Conference, CYPSEC 2023 took place on May 15-16 at the Event Hall of the Pancyprian Organization of Greek Teachers in Nicosia.
At the International Conference, the capabilities and existing solutions of modern technology in Defence & Security were presented to the Cypriot authorities, in the context of today’s unstable international environment that is full of security challenges.
At the conference, presentations and speeches were made by representatives of large international Defence Industry companies as well as Cypriot companies already active in the field of Defence & Security. These took place alongside relevant proposals – positions of institutional and non-governmental organizations.
The conference was attended by the Minister of Defence and officials of the Ministry, a representative of the Chief of the National Guard with top and senior officials, Ambassadors and Defence Attaches, representatives of Ministries, Cypriot Organizations, the Police, Fire Service, Civil Defence, but also officials of companies with local and international activity, highlighting the event, now an institution in the Eastern Mediterranean region.
DEFENCE ReDEFiNED attended the event, supporting every domestic initiative aimed at strengthening and promoting the active and substantial participation of Cyprus in the field of Defence and Security.
