On Thursday, February 10, 2022, at a meeting held in Belgrade, the military delegations of Cyprus and Serbia signed the Bilateral Defence Cooperation Program for the year 2022-23.
During the signing of the program, the General Staff of the National Guard was represented by the Director of the Fourth Branch, Colonel Neophytos Pachoulidis, while the Serbian Armed Forces were represented by the Head of the Department of International Defence Cooperation, Group Captain Nebojša Svjetlica.

The program includes a number of actions, which will take place in both Cyprus and Serbia and aims to promote military cooperation between the Republic of Cyprus and the Republic of Serbia.
At the same time, it highlights the excellent relations between the Armed Forces of the two countries and is part of a wider network of bilateral and multilateral military cooperation developed by the Ministry of Defence.
