On 8/3/22, 14 containers with humanitarian aid destined for Ukraine departed by cargo ship for Thessaloniki, according to an announcement by the Cyprus Civil Defence General Directorate. 

 

The aid has been offered by the state, non-governmental organizations, social organizations, and the citizens showing once again how much they care for our suffering fellowmen. 

The procedure for sending humanitarian aid is executed through the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism.
