Cyber attack against the Ministry of Defence website – the “Father of Turk hackers” is the main suspect
A cyber attack attempt aiming at data breach or damage to the Ministry of Defence website took place a few days ago.
According to Ministry sources, it was found that a cyber attack attempt was made, however it was successfully stopped and no damage was caused to the operation of the website.
According to the same information, the Ministry of Defence has taken all appropriate protective measures so as to deal with such attacks.
As secnews.gr reported in a post on 24/03, RootAyyildiz Turkish Defacer, the “Father of Turk hackers” as they call him, was going to attack critical infrastructure in Cyprus, mainly banking institutions and government services.
