British Bases Officers visited the Famagusta Police Department on Tuesday, September 29.
According to the Police, the Famagusta PD welcomed the Commander of the British Bases in Cyprus and Administrator Major General, Rob Thomson, accompanied by the Area Officer of the British Bases in Dhekelia, George Kiteos, and the Deputy Chief of Police at the British Bases in Dhekelia, Andreas Pitsillidis.
During the meeting, issues of cooperation between the Famagusta Police Department and the British Bases in Cyprus were discussed, in order to strengthen relations between the two sides.
Mr. Thomson was given a commemorative plaque by the Famagusta Police Director, Police Officer George Economou.
