The Police have carried out 500 checks in the last 24 hours for the implementation of the protocols against COVID-19. Two premises and 8 citizens have been reported.
According to the Police, 50 checks were carried out in Nicosia and 1 citizen was reported. In Limassol 98 checks were conducted and 1 citizen and 1 property were reported, whereas in Larnaca 152 checks were carried out and 3 citizens were reported. In Paphos out of 98 checks, 1 property was reported, in Famagusta 76 inspections were carried out and fines were issued against 2 citizens, while in Morfou 26 inspections were conducted which resulted in 1 citizen being reported.
