The participation of ADDITESS for the second time in this year’s International Defence and Security Exhibition DEFEA can be characterized as significant.
ADDITESS – Advanced Integrated Technology Solutions & Services LTD – is a scientific, consulting, and research Cypriot SME based in Nicosia, which was founded in 2011.
The company’s portfolio is related to security policies, transport security, border management, critical infrastructure protection, crisis consequences, emergency management situations, state-of-the-art modeling solutions, monitoring equipment, and state-of-the-art development of applied security solutions in the above areas.
Regarding its participation in DEFEA 2023, the company presented a multitude of software tools, which concern modern C4I (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence) systems as well as the enhanced capabilities they promise to offer in decision-making processes in the modern operational field.
Having its personnel as a guide, which consists of both operationally and scientifically experienced engineers and scientists, but also the high degree of extroversion from its participation in foreign projects partnering with technological giants, ADDITESS confidently addressed the highly qualified audience of the Exhibition with live demos of its own family of software application products.

In particular, the company presented an advanced decision-making mechanism developed in the framework of EDIDP’s European project, MARSEUS, which, with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning technologies, acts as a connecting link between each Battle Management System and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).
Furthermore, the ADDITESS team presented the ADD-C3 HMI software solution under the BORDERUAS program, which is about promoting a European integrated Border Management.
One of the main objectives of the proposed solution is to configure and deploy a state-of-the-art surveillance system capable of visualizing, monitoring, and managing data sources and platforms.
In particular, ADD-C3 can manage a large amount of heterogeneous data sources by providing a homogenized visualization of activity in a human-machine interface (HMI), based on a network of sensors (video, E/O, UAS, radar, acoustic sensor) to increase situational awareness through a variety of easy-to-use tools and functions.
The surveillance system will be offered to the end user through ADD-C3, a complete web-based Surveillance Command, Control, and Coordination (C3) solution.
ADDITESS also presented the ADDTask software tool, which is an innovative and extremely easy-to-use Incident Management System.
At a time when all countries seek superiority in the field of information, ADDITESS demonstrated at this year’s DEFEA 2023 its dense technological footprint in the disputed field both at the European and domestic levels.
EDF 2022
Since 2019, ADDITESS has been successfully participating in projects within the framework of both the EDIDP (European Defence Industrial Development Program) and the European Defence Fund (EDF). This is an activity, which is a product of business strategy and investment since 2018, which benefits not only the company itself, but also the ecosystem of the Cypriot Defence Industry.
Specifically, ADDITESS participates in the THEMA and TICHE projects for 2022, which respectively concern Electromagnetic Artillery (TecHnology for ElectroMagnetic Artillery) and Threat Identification by Collaborative vehicles for Human life-saving against Explosives. The main contractors of these projects are the French NEXTER (a member of the KNDS group) and the Italian RINA, who see ADDITESS as a critical technological partner in such pioneering technological projects.
