The Jumbo Track Multi fire truck constitutes an autonomous support, rescue, and firefighting unit designed to operate against wildfires especially in wooded, dense, isolated, and inaccessible areas.
The low surface pressure of the vehicle and its powerful engine make it particularly easy to move on any terrain either uneven, muddy, snowy, or with high and steep slopes. Both the driver and the operator of the fire monitor are in completely protected positions, while the firefighting can be executed remotely.
The rescue capabilities of the Jumbo Track Multi vehicle are versatile and efficient enough to successfully tackle firefighting with large quantities of fire-fighting foam agents that the vehicle can carry. Moreover, it can be refueled easily and quickly, even by helicopter.
In addition, the blade on the front of the vehicle is used to open passages, where there are obstacles, but also to quickly create fire zones in places that, due to the morphology of the ground, no other vehicle can approach.
This increased maneuverability in all-terrain conditions makes it a unique rescue, transport, and firefighting vehicle.
Overall, its technical characteristics and performance include:
- Mobility, firefighting, and rescue of up to 10 people under all weather conditions, even within fire
- Great water capability (15,000 lt.) and cruising range (450 km.)
- Full thermal and biochemical protection
- Large engine power 830 hp
- Modernized operator’s compartment
- Easy water refilling from ground or air supplies by helicopter
- High maneuverability and movement on all terrains
- Fire safety zones opening capability
- Optional integration of optical sensors and fire extinguishing systems under reduced visibility conditions
- On-the-move firefighting
- Easy vehicle transport
- Maximum speed 64 km/h
