Turkey is preparing to send its Syrian mercenaries to Afghanistan, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said on July 6th.
According to the London-based monitoring team, Turkey has already agreed with its delegation leaders in Syria on the troop deployment process.
The Turkish Intelligence Service (MIT) will monitor the deployment process and select the fighters to be sent to Afghanistan. The latter, to whom Turkey promises a monthly salary of $ 2,000-3,000, will be deployed in the capital Kabul to protect Hamid Karzai International Airport and other government buildings.
Last month, the United States, whose troops are due to withdraw from Afghanistan before 9/11, revealed that Turkey would maintain its forces in Kabul mainly to protect the airport.
Like I said yesterday , around 2000 to 2500 Syrian mercenaries send in Afghanistan by #Turkey 🇹🇷 this footage confirms it.

“The Turkish secret services will work to recruit these mercenaries to Turkish security companies with formal agreements and send them there (in Kabul). The Turkish side wants to play by international law, registering these mercenaries in security companies and legitimizing their presence in Kabul,” the SOHR report said.
In the past, Turkey has deployed thousands of Syrian fighters in Libya and Azerbaijan to support its allies and promote its interests. In both cases, Ankara kept secret the deployment of its Syrian mercenaries in these areas.
If the decision is finalized by Ankara, the Syrian mercenaries will be sent to Afghanistan as of next September, according to the SOHR.
Turkey seems to be organising a new military ‘adventure’ in Afghanistan. The Taliban have already warned Ankara not to deploy troops in the country after 9/11.
