Two firearms, a number of rounds and a quantity of dynamite were found by members of the Police yesterday at noon in Deftera.
According to a Police announcement, around 2:00 on Wednesday afternoon, after the Police had been informed by the Drug Law Enforcement Unit, two rifles, two magazines and a number of rounds were found in an open field in the area of Deftera. Dynamite of about 300 grams and two detonators were also found.
Upon receipt of what was found, members of the Nicosia CID and the Fire Service investigated the scene.
The Nicosia CID continues the investigation.
