A National Guard Officer was seriously injured today during an exercise in the area of Trooditissa.
Specifically, under conditions which are being investigated, the Officer fell from a height during an exercise causing him serious injuries.
A Joint Rescue Coordination Center (JCRR) team rushed to the scene and evacuated the injured Officer to the Nicosia General Hospital by helicopter.
