“Skyros” Exercise | Rafale on the way to Greece – VIDEO

The “Skyros” exercise will be held at the Tanagra Air Base from February 2-4, 2021 with the participation of the air forces of France and Greece. 

According to an announcement, as part of the exercise, four Rafale aircraft and similar support personnel of the French Air Force will be relocated to Tanagra Air Base. 

On Thursday, February 4, the Day of Distinguished Visitors (DV Day) of the exercise will be held, which will be attended by the French ambassador, the Chief of the French operation and a corresponding delegation of the Hellenic Armed Forces.

The “Skyros” exercise began on January 26, with 41 aircraft of all types in the Persian Gulf. Specifically, the exercise involved Rafale aircraft, Airbus A330 MRTT, F-15s, “Predator” Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Apache attack helicopters, F-16s and Mirage 2000-9.
