National Council | Anastasiadis meets party leaders today
The National Council, chaired by President Nikos Anastasiadis, will meet at 11 a.m. this morning to brief political party leaders on its meeting with the UN Secretary General’s Special Envoy that took place last Monday.
The meeting was announced by the Government Spokesman, Kyriakos Kousios, immediately after the meeting of the Secretary General’s Special Envoy, Jane Holl Lute, with Anastasiadis, who expressed readiness to participate in the informal five-party conference within the framework of the Secretary General’s letter dated October 26th.
According to UN spokeswoman for the Secretary-General, Stephane Dujarric, Lute continues consultations with all parties, including the guarantor powers.
