On Friday, October 25, 2024, the operation to send humanitarian aid to Lebanon was successfully completed.
From 20 to 26 October 2024, in the framework of the Bilateral Defence Cooperation Programme, the National Guard and the Armed Forces of Serbia co-organized joint training of Special Operations departments.
In particular, the co-training included, among other things, the execution of rapid response firings.
According to the relevant announcement of the National Guard General Staff (GEEF), the joint training is part of the wide network of international collaborations developed by the National Guard and is considered particularly beneficial, as it highlights the excellent relations that have developed between the Armed Forces of Cyprus and Serbia, and at the same time, at the operational level, it helps to improve interoperability and exchange know-how and experiences between the personnel of the two countries.
