Ukraine has managed to reduce casualties among the military by 30% due to the use of robotic technology in units.
This was reported to the NV news website by a source in the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
In fact, the Central Research Institute of the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted a simulation according to which the use of robotic systems in units reduces personnel losses by up to 30%. This has already been confirmed on the front lines during hostilities.
The source of the General Staff gave an example: small robotic supply platforms almost completely perform the tasks of logistical support at a distance of up to 5 kilometers.
In particular, the application of robotic technology makes it possible to provide personnel with food, ammunition, as well as the evacuation of the wounded from war zones. According to the official of the General Staff, this happens with a remote-controlled operation and does not allow the enemy to cause losses to the Ukrainian servicemen.
Technological advances are available in most military units that Ukraine has, the General Staff spokesman said. He added that work is currently underway to incentivise such innovative activities.
