A Ukrainian FPV (First Person View) drone shot down a Russian Mi-28 attack helicopter over the Kursk region.

The incident was recorded on August 6, 2024, a source in Ukraine’s intelligence services told the Kyiv Independent.

According to the same source, the FPV drone, controlled by the Special Operations Center “A” of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), managed to attack the helicopter’s tail rotor.

According to the same official, the FPV strike is a unique special operation in military history.

It should be noted that President Volodymyr Zelensky has set a goal for Ukraine this year to produce one million First Person View (FPV) drones, which are cheap to manufacture and can be manufactured in huge quantities.
