The Ukrainian Minister of Defence, Oleksiy Reznikov, confirmed that his country’s Armed Forces are already using British long-range Storm Shadow missiles.

The relevant statement was made by the Minister during the joint press conference with his British counterpart, Ben Wallace, who is visiting Kyiv, writes the newspaper Novaya Gazeta Europe, citing RBC-Ukraina.

This is the first time Ukrainian authorities have reported that such a weapon was used.

Reznikov thanked Britain for its support of Ukraine since day one of Russia’s full-scale invasion.

The cruise missiles in question, also known as SCALP-EG, are also in the arsenal of the Hellenic Air Force, while a mid-life refurbishment (MLR) program was recently signed with MBDA.
