Thousands of Ukrainian soldiers have entered and continue to operate inside Russia’s Kursk province up to 30 km from the border.

It is the most significant territorial threat it has to face after 900 days of war in Ukraine. Russia’s Defense Ministry released a video of Russian soldiers fighting Ukrainian armed forces.

What military officials in Moscow initially downplayed has turned into a major headache as forces have been moved into that area, as well as other border provinces, to control the situation.

For their part, Ukrainian officials do not reveal the extent of their operational action or their next steps. Russian authorities have been forced to evacuate thousands of Russian citizens from settlements, villages and cities located in the conflict zone. Currently, 20 reception centers for displaced persons have been set up in cooperation with the Russian Red Cross.

Moscow and Kiev are blaming each other for the fire that broke out and was finally extinguished at the nuclear power plant in Zaporizhia, Ukraine, which is in the hands of the Russian armed forces.

The Russians are talking about a Ukrainian attack and Kiev about a fire set by Russian forces.

Battle tank mobilization on the Belarus-Ukraine border

A video lasting just over 50 seconds was released by the Belarusian armed forces. It shows the movement of battle tanks on the border with Ukraine.

In the announcement issued by the Ministry of Defence of Belarus, it is pointed out that this is the first phase of the transfer of motorized units to specific areas chosen by the military leadership.

In fact, the readiness to implement the assigned mission is emphasized. The video comes just 24 hours after the working council convergence, as the Belarusian leader called it.

According to it, he claimed that his country’s air defences had shot down Ukrainian drones and called for increased border guarding after Ukrainian forces entered Russia’s Kursk province.

Alexander Lukashenko even warned that these actions will not go unanswered and emphasized that it is obvious that the Ukrainian leadership does not intend to find a peaceful solution in the near future.
