At this year’s EUROSATORY, THEON SENSORS showcased two new families of electro-optics, which, although they share a common technology, can complement each other, since the TALOS series is designed for ground use and the TRITON series for use in a maritime environment.

Starting with the TALOS series, it is a family of electro-optical systems that offers the user automatic detection, surveillance and identification in a ground environment for Border Control, Coastal Surveillance, Law Enforcement, Perimeter Surveillance, Sensitive Infrastructure Protection, Intelligence, Surveillance and Identification in the field and Civil Protection missions.
TALOS / TRITON MR
In addition, the TRITON series is a family of electro-optical systems which offers the user automatic detection, surveillance and identification in a maritime environment for Border Control, EEZ Surveillance, Law Enforcement, Maritime Navigation and Counter-Piracy missions.

Both systems come to redefine surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities in the modern battlefield by offering Dual Video Display, Picture in Picture, enhanced image processing and fusion capabilities, automatic target detection and motion sensing built-in digital maps.

According to the company, the systems in question have already attracted interest in Egypt and Morocco, while the Hellenic Navy has shown interest in stationing them autonomously on islands and existing naval platforms.
