MBDA, a leading force in the production of missile systems in Europe, is participating once again in the BATTLEFIELD ReDEFiNED international conference, the largest defence and security conference in Cyprus.
The conference is being organised for the second consecutive year on December 12-13 in Nicosia, at the Pavilion Hall, in collaboration with the Cyprus Association of Research and Innovation Enterprises (CARIE), and is under the auspices of both the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Ministry of Defence.
With topics that include, among others, the development of the Cypriot Defence Industry, dual-use technologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI), armoured platforms of all types, and means of survivability, “BATTLEFIELD ReDEFiNED 2024” is a meeting point and exchange of views platform between defence and security professionals, businessmen, and government officials.
MBDA, which employs more than 13,000 people in 6 countries and has a presence in more than 90 states, will present two important thematics. On December 12, as part of the “Network-Centred Battlefield: Search, Detect, and Engage” section, the company will develop its technological approach to network-centric operations.

Further on, on December 13, it will address the “Lightweight and high-precision for effectiveness in infantry and Special forces operations” thematically, focusing on modern anti-tank systems and approaches that promote effectiveness in modern infantry and special forces operations.
MBDA’s presence at BATTLEFIELD ReDEFiNED 2024 highlights its commitment to cooperation with the Cypriot Defence Ecosystem. The conference will once again be an important platform for dialogue and presentation of cutting-edge technologies, with MBDA actively participating in the promotion of modern defence technology and innovation.
