Greece is in the top 50 with the most powerful armies in the world for 2024, at a time when Turkey’s power seems to be strengthening in the relevant list.

Specifically, global firepower ranks Greece in 32nd place, based on the evaluation of 145 countries, calculating 60 individual factors from the amount of military forces and the economic situation, to the logistical capabilities and geography of each country.

The trend of Greece compared to the previous year is stable. The country, according to this list, has a fleet of 187 naval ships, 632 aircraft.

At the same time, Greece has 1,365 tanks, 57,030 armored vehicles, 589 self-propelled and 729 towed vehicles.

Turkey is this year in the top 10 of the world’s military power, and specifically in 8th place.

The analysis of Ankara’s military forces lists 1,069 aircraft, 2,231 tanks, 55,104 armored vehicles, 1,038 self-propelled vehicles and 186 ships.
