The planes will be licensed by Turkey to transport troops from the occupied territories back to Turkey, “Transport Minister” Tolga Atakan said in response to a question of a journalist. The journalist from the Yeni Duzen newspaper asked about reports of flights originating from Turkey to and from the occupied territories commencing June 1st.
According to today’s publication of the newspaper, the “minister” stated that citizens will not board the planes and that on June 3 a flight to Pakistan will take place again for military purposes.
He also said flights to and from the occupied territories could begin after June 15, but no final decision has been made yet.
