During recent military exercises with Cambodia, China’s Armed Forces showed off a robotic dog with an automatic rifle mounted on its back.

The weapon system in question can serve as a new member in urban reconnaissance operations to neutralize the enemy, reducing the risk of casualties.

The two-minute video (watch at the end), filmed during the China-Cambodia Golden Dragon 2024 exercise, also shows the 15-kilogram, 4-hour autonomy system walking, jumping, lying down and moving backwards remote-controlled.

The last part of the video also shows the use of an automatic rifle mounted under a hexacopter drone.
