The Greek, innovative start-up company NVISIONIST specializes in applied digital technology solutions, based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning.
This high-tech company designs, creates and delivers innovative renewable energy solutions and services that benefit organizations, communities and the environment, and contribute to quality of life and resource conservation.
Among these areas of activity, the company has also invested technological capital in the areas of cyber security and physical security, such as video surveillance assisted by Video Analytics.
In fact, in the aforementioned sector, the start-up has managed to develop the fully autonomous energy and telecommunication system nvFirePro for immediate detection of fires in various environments (urban, semi-urban, or forest environments).
The system’s operational autonomy provides 24-hour surveillance capabilities powered by photovoltaic panels, wind turbines and batteries, ensuring continuous operation even in isolated areas lacking a power grid.
The system in question operates by using thermal and electro-optical imaging sensors, which can transmit in real-time all the collected live streaming and geolocation data to up to 100 fire management centers.
nvFirePro integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies for early (within 60s) fire detection at an operational range of 15 km with a 360-degree coverage.
According to the company, the advantage of the system lies in the high accuracy of the system for detecting smoke and avoiding false alarms with the system automatically deciding on the categorization of events (significant / non-significant), thus avoiding the unnecessary mobilization of resources.

In particular, in the event of thermal hazard detection, nvFirePro transmits high-priority alerts with images and geographic locations to the control center. At the same time, the system provides the ability to use drones to transmit aerial live images, facilitating the operational coordination of management centers.
At this point it is worth mentioning that nvisionist cooperates with PPC (ΔΕΗ), which participates in the equity capital as a strategic investor with a percentage of 33.34%.
Established in 2021, the company, with the support of PPC’s Innovation Hub, has already won 18 international and domestic awards for its technological innovation, while its technological “ceiling” still remains undefined.
