Another clear message of their determination not to allow a generalized conflict in the Middle East was sent by the US by announcing the deployment of fifth-generation (Stealth) fighters to the region.

Specifically, the US Central Command (US Central Command), whose area of responsibility is the Middle East, North Africa, and part of South Asia, announced that as of Thursday, August 8, the F-22 Raptor fighters are stationed in the Middle East.

U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptors arrived in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility Aug. 8 as part of U.S. force posture changes in the region to mitigate the possibility of regional escalation by Iran or its proxies.

In its message, the US also refers to Iran’s partners, such as Hezbollah and the Houthis, sending a clear warning about the range and operational capability of the aircraft, in view of the expected attack by Iran and its allies against Israel.

It should be noted that the F-22 Raptor is a fifth-generation US fighter aircraft of low observability (Stealth) with its main mission being air superiority, while it can also be used in other missions such as bombardment and electronic warfare. To be noted, due to their advanced technology, it is not exported from the USA to any country in the world, with no exceptions.

The US has also made it clear that it is prepared to use military means to defend Israel, as it did last April. The US Department of Defense announced last Friday the deployment of additional warships and fighter jets to the Middle East region.
